7BD Surf Camp is a team of people who consider surfing their calling. We believe that surfing is more than just a hobby: it’s a culture capable of uniting people from different corners of the planet.

7BD Surf Camp is located on the stunning South coast of Sri Lanka in the village of Ahangama, just 30 secs walk from the ocean, local beaches and all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The road to the nearest beach takes only 1 minute on foot, and to supermarkets, ATMs, cafes and pharmacies - about 15mins.
Yet, our camp is secluded from the hustle and bustle of Sri Lanka, allowing you to relax, enjoy nature, and unwind after a day of surfing. Surrounded by palm trees and breathtaking ocean views, 7BD Surf Camp territory has a spacious pool area, various lounge areas and hammocks surrounded by palm trees and ocean views.
Surf Team
Come to our surf camp to improve your surfing with our big waves riders, Canary Island Champions and our russian surf coach. Surf season here lasts from November to May: that's when the waves are perfect for surfers of all levels. During the lessons our instructors will teach you the basics of surfing, the different types of boards, how waves form and how to behave in the ocean.
For more advanced surfers, we offer reef spots that will allow you to improve your skills.

Each lesson lasts 2 hours. Before hitting the waves, you will have an introductory lecture and a warm-up to get your muscles ready.
We also record every other lesson for video analysis, to progress faster in surfing.
Our instructors come from Spain and Russia, so we conduct lessons in three languages: Russian, Spanish, and English. Their teaching experience, ranging from 5 to 15 years, allows them to find the right approach for each student.
